We are embarking on a 100 day challenge of not buying anything involving plastic. No packaging, nothing!
Since most plastics can't be recycled in Dunedin, it makes sense to go for more environmentally friendly alternatives. The trouble is weening ourselves off the convenience of our 'plastic' lives.

Day 46
Here's some pics of the products we have switched to.
I use that pasta in the states! Is the toilet paper expensive? Are you spending more or less money on the things you are buying, compared to what you used to spend?
The pasta is here in Countdown. THe toilet paper is about $4-something. Not too much more than other brands. I do think we are spending a bit more than we used to, but not loads more.
